I wrote a song without the words yesterday
I suppose that happens when thereʼs nothing to say and
some people think I should, and maybe i ought a but
iʼm told itʼs somthing that could never be taught and
the music that iʼve made has changed over time and
it almost feels as if itʼs no longer mine and
i think about what these things should mean to you but
canʼt wonder too long, thereʼs new things to do...

I know that somthingʼs left inside from me
but i know, that thereʼs other things thatʼll try
and since iʼm holding out, iʼll never have to feel the Drought
Thought you should know, iʼm just giving you the runaround...

i wrote some songs about myself yesterday all
about the problems that had headed my way and
Itʼs been awhile and it feels like its through cus
alot has changed and i donʼt know what to do see
Itʼs been an issue and itʼs broken my mind how
the past is past when theres no such thing as time guess...

"...the lesson learned thereʼs no beginning or end,
just flip the record over, start it again..."
